Well sadly, it's about to get a LOT worse.
Experts are warning that a 5-million strong army of giant spiders will be hitting Irish homes this Autumn.
'Giant' house spiders usually rock up from late September onwards, and 2017 is predicted to be worse than ever after a warm and humid summer.
This has resulted in more flies for them to feast their hairy mitts on and so, the spider population dramatically increase from 2016. Ew.
The spiders in question measure up to 8cm in length and are usually orange-brown in colour.
