Long before the distractions of mobile phones, social media and what have ya, 90s kids were able wile away their hours productively by playing games consoles.

The Super Nintendo was by far one of the most popular along with its arch-rival the Sega Megadrive. You were either one or the other and there was no crossover.

Now, it looks like the Nintendo kids may be whisked right back to there childhood as the Japanese gaming giants are rumoured to be bringing out a Super Nintendo Mini.

According to Eurogamer, the version, known as a 'SNES Mini' is a follow up to last year's NES Mini which is no longer in production.

With a catalogue of classics such as Super Mario World, Donkey Kong and The Legend Of Zelda set to be released alongside the console we know what we're going to be asking for this Christmas.
