A man’s body was found in a public toilet in Cork city centre early this morning.
He was discovered in the facility on the Grand Parade during routine cleaning inspections.
Emergency services were called and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardai sealed off the area for forensic examination and a post mortem will be carried out at Cork University Hospital.
Officers are checking CCTV footage from the area to get an idea of the man’s movements.
There were no signs of violence at the scene, The Independent reports.
