A tragic incident happened on the N28 Cork to Ringaskiddy Road this afternoon which has resulted in a cyclist dying, it has been reported.
RTÉ said that the woman in her 60s is said to have sustained serious injuries from the collision and later died.
The tragic incident happened around 1pm and is said to have also involved a tractor.

Traffic diversions are currently in place as the investigation is ongoing.
The woman’s body was removed to Cork University Hospital where a post-moterm is due to take place.
Gardaí are appealing to the public for any witnesses to the collision.
