A man in his 50s has been arrested after the discovery of cannabis plants worth an estimated €200,000 in a grow house in Ballinrobe, Co Mayo.
Gardaí carried out a search at a house in The Neale area yesterday as part of an on-going operation, and discovered 261 cannabis plants which were all at different stages of growth.
Drugs paraphernalia was also discovered during the search.
The man was arrested at the scene and is being held at Castlebar Garda Station.
