Fancy having a brand new four-bed gaff to call your own for a mere €100?! Seriously, this isn’t some #fakenews scam – a local soccer club in Donegal are actually raffling away a whopper house.
The new build home, which is worth €175,000, is the top prize an a raffle organised by Aileach FC Mega Draw, a club based in the village of Burnfoot in Donegal.
The village suffered severe damage last year with flooding that destroyed the majority of homes, and the raffle hopes to raise funds to help families rebuild.
Organisers say that the odds are approximately 3,000 to one, with tickets available online here with the draw taking place at the end of 2018.
Other top prizes include a fancy cruise and weekend getaways. There’s also an incredibly sound payment plan for people who can’t afford the €100 upfront, so you can give €5 payments for your raffle ticket over 20 weeks.
This is sure to raise a LOT of much-needed funds for the community.
