Met Éireann has issued a nationwide status yellow fog warning that will come into effect just after midnight tonight.
After a night of swirling winds and rain, it seems we’ll have to contend with fog for the whole day on Sunday and into Monday morning. The status yellow warning was issued at 8am on Saturday and affects all parts of the country. It reads ‘dense fog with a risk of freezing fog in places’ and will be valid from 12.01am on Sunday until 10am on Monday.
