A Snow-Ice Warning Has Been Issued Across Ireland Today

Met Éireann has issued a status yellow snow-ice warning for the whole of Ireland today.

Temperatures are expected to hover close to freezing throughout the day, with severe frost and ice remaining across many parts of the country in the morning. 

There will be outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow in the cloudy west and southwest and temperatures are expected to rise a few degrees by evening, while it will be 1 or 2° elsewhere. You can also expect light breezes.

The frosty weather should clear overnight with temperatures of 3-5° expected tomorrow morning.

While the status yellow warning is in effect take special care on the roads, folks.
