The late, great broadcaster Terry Wogan will be honoured in Limerick today.
According to BreakingNews.ie, the TV presenter will be memorialised with a bronze statue in the city.
Wogan was born and raised in Limerick City before he moved to England in his teens.
He spent his years on the air in Britain and is most well-known for presenting game show Blankety Blank and being the commentator for the UK during the Eurovision.
He passed away in 2016 following a battle with cancer.
