The Food Safety Authority of Ireland has issued an allergy warning over a batch of chicken goujons from a well-known brand.
The alert on the FSAI website stated that a batch of Big Als chicken goujons with a best before date of the end of December 2018 may contain undeclared ingredients.
According to the FSAI, mustard and milk were undeclared on this specific batch of chicken goujons. The warning also stated that this allergen alert applies to the 400g packet.
The warning read: ‘This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of mustard and/or milk and their constituents.’
