Aldi will soon be selling hanging egg chairs for cats and we’re obsessed.
If we’ve learned one thing over the past year, it’s that people simply go mad for a hanging egg chair. The essence, the class, the novelty of sitting on something that HANGS. It’s a truly beautiful experience. Whenever a supermarket has put these egg chairs on sale, they fly off the shelves. So, we’re interested to see if the same thing happens with these hanging egg chairs for cats. Why should we simple humans get all the fun, after all?
Aldi is now selling just that, with cat-sized hanging egg chairs hitting the shelves on Sunday, May 30 for just €39.99.
The hanging egg chairs for cats have a metal stand, a reversible cushion, and comes in either stylish natural or grey wicker.
And that’s not all. The European supermarket is also bringing out ratten cat igloos going for €29.99 apiece. Aldi has a whole range of eco-friendly pet items launching on May 30, including wooden pet gates, recycled pet beds, bamboo dog harnesses, recycled dog coats and recycled dog toys.

Speaking ahead of the launch of the eco-friendly pet range, Aldi’s Pet Ambassador Lucy Kennedy said: “Anyone who knows me now knows myself and my dog Riley love Aldi’s middle aisle of Specialbuys.
“We are all trying to be savvier with what we bring into our homes so anything that is made from recycled material is going to be a winner in our household!”
