Ireland have qualified for the Women’s Hockey World Cup semi-final after a dramatic shoot-out victory over India in London.
After the match finished scoreless, it was down to Chloe Watkins to seal a 3-1 victory in the shoot-out after heroics from Irish goalkeeper Ayeisha McFerran.

It was the second time Ireland have beaten India in the tournament. The Green Army will now face Spain on Saturday for a place in the final. The match will be shown live on RTÉ.
