A collision that occurred early this morning in Limerick has left one person seriously injured, according to Breaking News .
The incident, which occurred near the Cooldrinagh Roundabout, involved a car leaving the road and driving into a signpost.
It has also led to the close of the N18 Limerick to Ennis dual carriageway, in both directions.Â

It’s believed that the person injured had to be cut from their car following the accident.
Gardaà are investigating.
The roads are expected to be closed until 11am, according to AA Roadwatch.
