An Irish man in Australia has suffered serious injuries after being involved in a workplace accident yesterday.
The man, who is in his 30s, fell off scaffolding at a construction site in Brisbane yesterday morning at around 7am, according to Newstalk, and has been transferred to a nearby hospital.
It's believed he fell approximately 20m before falling onto concrete.
He has suffered multiple fractures to both his legs, as well as his ribs.
It's understood the Department of Foreign Affairs is aware of the incident and is ready to provide assistance although Department has not yet received an official request.
