UFC President Dana White has claimed that a warrant has been issued for Conor McGregor’s arrest following a violent incident in New York.
McGregor turned up unannounced at the Barclays Centre in the city after White stripped him of his UFC Lightweight title. He then proceeded to throw a railing at a bus containing rival Khabib Nurmagomedov. It’s been reported that another fighter, Michael Chiesa, suffered injuries during the fracas.Â
ESPN Journalist Brett Okamoto has now reported that White confirmed a warrant is out for the Dubliner’s arrest and his plane can’t leave the city.Â

Okamoto has now moved to quell White’s claims by tweeting that the NYPD is currently investigating the incident and no warrant has been issued as of yet.
Despite Dana White’s comments about an arrest warrant on McGregor, ABC News reports NYPD is currently investigating the incident and has not issued a warrant yet.
