The Most Popular Baby Names In Northern Ireland For Last Year Have Been Revealed

The most popular first names for baby boys and girls in Northern Ireland from last year have been revealed.

The names that came out on top of the list were Emily and James.

James, Jack, Daniel and Thomas all feature in the top 10 while bizarre names like Zeplin, Blaise, Maverick, Ace and Jupiter also featured in the extended list.

Grace, Olivia and Emily all took up spots in the top ten for the girls while some of the less common names given to baby girls in 2017 were Lady, Divine, Rio, Star and Vogue.
