Someone Has Created A Beer Infused With Holy Water To Celebrate Pope’s Visit

Ah, lads.

We think it’s safe to say that we’ve all gone a bit mad over the Pope’s visit at the end of the month.

Not only has someone created a class playlist on Spotify, but now we have a papal inspired drink to sip on while listening to those heavenly tunes.

Stefan Prendergast from Mayo has created Knock Pope Beer.

Stefan told Lovin.ie, he when he saw all the souvenirs selling very well he decided to make it for “a bit of a joke.”

“My friend told me I could probably sell it but I mostly just did it for fun.”

Unfortunately we were unable to get a photo of the holy beer because the Knock Shrine logo was used on the label.

According to Stefan, “They’re not too happy about it.”

We would love a sip of it all the same.
