The body of a man has been recovered overnight after car went over a cliff in County Cork yesterday evening.
According to Breaking News, the car had gone over the Old Head of Kinsale.
Gardaí at Anglesea Street Garda Station got in contact with the Valentia Marine Rescue Sub Centre at around 7:30pm, seeking their assistance.
The search, which involved Garda units from Kinsale and Courtmacsherry as well as the Rescue 117 helicopter from Waterford, saw a car submerged with water. The body of a man was rescued at around 3:20am this morning.
Lifeboats from the Old Head of Kinsale coast guard were also in attendance.
