To add to the recent Ryanair controversy, the airline has just confirmed that its Belfast to Gatwick service will be suspended from November until March.
BBC reports that the Belfast route is one of 34 which will be halted for the winter season, after Ryanair stated that it would “slow its growth.”
Michael O’Leary has apologised for these self-called “sensible schedule changes”.
However, people from Northern Ireland are said to be seriously upset at their flight plans being cancelled, and with no re-booking options available until after March, people are scrambling to find alternative travel options.
Ours is a christmas flight too – we’re going to belfast to head out to New York and now no refund and having to book elsewhere
