BREAKING: Swimming Ban On Kilkee Beach Is Now Lifted

A swimming ban in Kilkee Beach, Co. Clare has been lifted.

The ban was implemented following high levels of bacteria found over the weekend.

Following advice from the HSE, the beach was temporarily closed for swimmers.

It's been announced today that the restriction is no longer in place, according to RTÉ.

It's understood that lifeguards are in place on the beach, and the blue flags are once again flying.
