In Poor Taste? Ryanair Has Launched A Shocking Seat Sale Following Aer Lingus Arrests

Alana Laverty

We’re well used to Ryanair’s controversial approach to marketing but we reckon their latest stunt has crossed the line…

As you may have heard two Aer Lingus employees were arrested last night in connection with an illegal immigrant smuggling network that is believed to have been run through Dublin Airport.

According to the Independent.ie, catering vehicles were used to smuggle people directly from Aer Lingus planes to a car park outside of the airport.

Gardaí believe that over 500 people have been illegally smuggled into Ireland through this network over the last few years.

And as if matters weren’t bad enough, Ryanair have decided, in very poor taste, to cash in on this scandal – by launching a seat sale and ripping the piss out of the matter.

Seriously lads?!

A spokesperson for Ryanair said tonight: “While everyone loves our low fares, our social media posts may not cater to all tastes.”
