Bride Makes Emotional Appeal After Engagement Ring Is Stolen From Phoenix Park

A devastated bride has made an emotional appeal after her wedding and engagement rings were stolen from Phoenix Park.

Jane Deering was jogging in the public park when a friend when she returned to find that her car had been broken into and the left-hand window smashed.

Both women’s handbags had been stolen, with Jane’s containing a small green wallet holding her wedding and engagement rings.

Jane told The Ray D’Arcy Show that she is still hopeful that the rings can be found.

“They (the rings) were very well hidden. I do panic sometimes asking myself if I put them in there because they get wedged in the corner.

“It’s a little zippy part with a few coins in it. You’d have to go looking for them.I really hoped they just opened it, saw there was no cash and if they took the cards that’s fine, and then threw it away.”
