Bus Éireann Strike Talks Resume Again This Morning

Bus Éireann talks are resuming again this morning, between unions and management, in an attempt to resolve the currently 17-day-strike that started way back on Monday, February 20.

According to the Irish Independent, both parties are meeting this morning at the Workplace Relations Commission.

Talks once again broke down last night, as both the unions and management failed to reach a negotiation.

A break had been taken from such discussions Friday morning after the two parties had attempted to negotiate for 27 hours, with no end in sight.

The Bus Éireann Trade Union Group, which represents members from five different unions, took up strike action originally because of an ”appalling attack on semi- state workers.”
