An impressive eight Irish third level institutions featured in the QS 2018 World University Rankings, which ranks universities around the world.
Trinity college has climbed up ten places to make it back into the top 1% of universities in the world, coming in at 88th place, followed by University College Dublin (168), NUI Galway (243), University College Cork (283) and Dublin City University (391).
Other Irish colleges which also made it on the list where University of Limerick (501-550), Dublin Institute of Technology (651-700) and Maynooth University (701-750).
As for the best college in the world? That honour goes to Massachusetts Institute of Technology for the sixth year in a row.
We’re not doing too shabby over here though…
