Charcoal Lattes Are The Latest Health Buzz Sweeping The World

Food trends seem to pop out of nowhere. 

A couple of weeks ago it was all about the Starbucks unicorn frappuccino but things have now taken a much darker turn when it comes to coffee.

Social media is starting to light up with images and videos of charcoal lattes which are made using activated charcoal. 

The health benefits of charcoal have been mooted for years with many claiming it helps with everything from reducing gas to curing hangovers and helping with pregnancies. 

So far the lattes have mainly been spotted in New York and in a London coffee shop but as with all things trend-related on Instagram and social media in general, it must only be a matter of time before they make their way to Ireland.
