Conor McGregor Has Given A Rare Insight Into This Trash Talking Methods

James Fenton

Conor McGregor has taken a break from his usual social media communication to give Sky Sports a rare exclusive interview which aired this morning.

In the frank conversation, The Notorious was asked about his infamous acid tongue and what makes him so good at trash talk.

Specifically, he spoke about the much-hyped build-up to his fight with Floyd Mayweather back in August, during which the pair were contracted to appear at press conferences in Los Angeles, Toronto, New York and London.

Naturally, things got out of hand on a number of occasions as insults flew in both directions. It was widely viewed though that McGregor got the better his opponent in the verbals before losing in the ring in Las Vegas on August 26.

So does Conor prepare his razor-sharp barbs in advance? Apparently not if this snippet from today’s interview is anything to go by. Conor says “I just imagined questions being asked to me and what way I would respond and then I just rolled with it. Then of course, emotions got away with it and I let it roll. Some turned into gold and some turned into not so gold.”
