We can only imagine that if you were at EP last week, you’d wish that you could turn the clock back a week so that you could relive the excitement, music and craic all over again.

While the main talking points about the festival were the music acts that brought the county of Laois to its knees, reports have been circulating about one Irish comedian playing in the comedy tent whose jokes seemed to upset a lot of people.

“Caught the last ten minutes of David McSavage in the comedy tent last night and in that time he made a joke about a paedophile priest, one about how shrill his ex wife was, one about strangling women and one about how he only fucks young women who have daddy issues,” was one of the tweets about McSavage who rose to fame on RTÉ’s ‘The Savage Eye.

Another festival goer stated that at one stage, McSavage allegedly “singled out a girl in the audience and talked about her massive tits and nipples and how he wanted to rub his cock all over them”.

The Twitter thread has started a huge conversation about McSavage’s comedy style and one person has said that they are thinking about writing a letter to the organisers of Electric Picnic about his performance.
