Dublin Actor From Love/Hate Has Just Been Named A Huge Rising Star In The US


While Love/Hate may have put Barry Keoghan on the map when it comes to the Irish film industry, but his recent roles in Dunkirk and The Killing Of A Sacred Deer has catapulted him into the eyes of Hollywood.

Barry has been named in the respected US entertainment magazine The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen Talent 2017 list – described as the “stars and blockbuster breakouts who are shaking up the industry.”

Here’s what they had to say…

“His breakout year also includes a leading role as a creepy kid on a revenge mission in The Lobster director Yorgos Lanthimos’ The Killing of a Sacred Deer. Next up, Keoghan is set for the Irish period drama Black 47 and will appear alongside Blake Jenner and Evan Peters in the crime feature American Animals.” 

His performance in The Killing Of A Sacred Deer will leave you with no doubt he’s gonna be huge
