Dundalk café suffers a break-in over the weekend

Katy Thornton

Proper. café in Dundalk had to shut temporarily due to a break-in.

On Saturday morning, 26th February, Proper. café Dundalk remained shut for the first few hours of business as they had suffered a break-in overnight. The front door had been smashed in, leaving a sizeable hole in the glass. Proper. took to Instagram that morning to tell customers they’d have to delay opening.

Fortunately the café didn’t have to close for long, reopening later on Saturday for all their customers’ tea, coffee, and sambo needs.

Proper. is based on Clanbrassil Street in Dundalk. If you’re local to the area, or just fancy something yummy for lunch, why not give them some love this week? Their sandwiches, as well as their pancakes and smoothie bowls, look sensational.
