PIC: Dunnes Stores Recalling This Product But The Damage For You Could Be Already Done

Darragh Berry

Normally when a product recall is issued, it’s for something with a use-by date of next week that you might have bought but not touched or better still might not have even purchased yet.

But with this Dunnes Stores recall, there’s a good chance that you’ve already used the product meaning the damage could be done.

As the below picture shows, they are recalling Durex Real Feel Condoms that were manufactured after January 2018 and may have use-by dates of December 2020 or January 2021.

The likelihood that you’ve already ripped open one, or a few, of these babies and used them is highly unlikely considering we’re nearly 90% of the way through 2018.

Oops…

Dunnes Recall Condoms

As well as this, as a precautionary measure, Supervalu are initiating a recall of Supervalu Signature Tastes Irish Chicken due to the possible presence of small bones.

Point-of-sale recall notices will be displayed in stores that sold the implicated products.

Also, peanuts were undeclared on the label of a batch of Four Seasons Sesame Paste Tahini.

This may make the batch unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of peanuts.

The batches affected are those with a best before date of March 2020; batch: 114; pack size: 800g.
