We all hear about how breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but we never knew how important.
Turns out, it’s very important.
Eating a big breakfast everyday could be the key to weight loss, according to new research from Loma Linda University of Public Health.
The Telegraph reports that the study, which looked at 50,000 people, showed that those who ate the most at breakfast time had a lower BMI than those who waited until dinner time to tuck into a large meal.
This is despite the fact that the both consumed approximately the same amount of calories.
Lead author of the study Dr. Hana Kahleova suggests that the best combo for your eating should be a large breakfast, lunch and then fast for 18 hours.
Not sure if we could handle fasting for 18 hours everyday, but a big breakfast sounds like music to my ears.
