Ed Sheeran kicked off his 1,084 day tour in Ireland over the Bank Holiday weekend with his shows in Cork.
Ah no, we joke. Ed is of course only here for a brief nine-show stint around the country but we'd love to have him for longer.
His next two shows will see the musician travel west of the Shannon to the Town of The Tribe where he will take over Galway's GAA pitch, Pearse Stadium in Salthill.
His brief stint in the west happens to coincide with these years' Pieta House's Darkness Into Light. For those of you who are not familiar with the walk, it is a 5km walk (you can run or jog it though if you want) which is setup to help raise awareness and vital funds for suicide and Mental Health awareness here in Ireland.
The walk takes place in the early hours of Saturday 12th May in over 150 venues in Ireland and Ed Sheeran is being rumoured to walk the one held in Westport.
Being from Mayo myself, the group chats started hopping and screenshots of the different messages were being fired left, right and centre.
The local priest for the area, Charlie McDonnell knows what's what in the town and is heavily involved in the walk each year and told Lovin that the rumours were in fact just rumours and said that "Ed Sheeran hadn't signed up".
However, that's not to say that he won't sign up for the Westport walk but the sensible money would be on the musician doing the walk that takes place along the Prom in Salthill, considering he is gigging out there.
