Taoiseach Enda Kenny has stated that he has no plans to meet with President-Elect Donald Trump when he travels to the US later this month.
Mr. Kenny is due to travel to both the east and west coasts of North America, his trip will include events in New York over a number of days.
A spokesman for the Taoiseach this afternoon said that he has no intention arranging to meet with the President-Elect at this stage.
This comes after Kenny was criticised for his friendly overtures to the US President-Elect Donald Trump after the recent presidential election.
