This week has been pretty good so far in terms of weather with temperatures hitting the 20s and plenty of sunshine.
It would be wise not to get too comfortable though and even wiser to keep your umbrella in close proximity over the weekend.
While the weather is expected to remain pleasant again today and tomorrow, Met Éireann is predicting that things will get unsettled from Thursday night. Friday will bring outbreaks of showers before more persistent rain takes hold on Saturday and the will be a good bit of cloud throughout the weekend.
Current indications suggest there will be heavy showers and thunder on Monday but Tuesday and Wednesday will see things pick up again with temperatures hitting the 20s once more.
