The Euro 2020 Draw Has Been Made And Ireland's Opponents Will Be Sick Of The Sight Of Us

Ireland will face a tough task to qualify for 2020 European Championships but to be fair it could have been a lot worse.

At the draw today in Dublin, Mick McCarthy's men were grouped with in-form Switzerland as well as Denmark, who we met in the 2018 World Cup Play-Offs as well as the recent Nations League campaign. Georgia and Gibraltar will also join us in the group.

One of the tastiest groups will see Germany face old rivals Netherlands in a group which will also include Northern Ireland.

England, meanwhile will face Czech Republic, Montenegro and Bulgaria.
