Extra Flights Have Been Added To Denmark For Ireland’s World Cup Play-Off

If you’ve been tempted to go to the Ireland World Cup play-off game in Denmark next month, extra flights have been added by Norwegian Airlines.

The airline announced that they will be adding two extra flights on Friday, November 10 and two on Sunday November 12 to facilitate the demand from Irish football supporters. 

These flights range from €112 one way or €240 return.

While fares can fluctuate, Norwegian said seats from €112 one way and €240 return were available. It said it was adding two extra flights from Dublin on the eve of the match on Friday, November 10, with two extra flights back on November 12.

The FAI said that 2,305 tickets will be available for Irish supports for the Denmark first leg match but applications closed on Monday.

Even if you’re not going to the match, you might be interested in going along for the atmosphere that is bound to be electric.

The extra flights added are as follows:

November 10 – Friday (Dublin – Copenhagen)

  • D88461: departs Dublin at 11:45am, arrives in Copenhagen at 2.55pm
  • D88463: departs Dublin at 5.20pm, arrives in Copenhagen at 8.30pm

November 12 – Sunday (Copenhagen – Dublin)

  • D88460: departs Copenhagen at 12pm, arrives in Dublin at 1.15pm
  • D88462: departs Copenhagen at 5.35pm, arrives in Dublin at 6.50pm
