Brick Lane burgers are a thing of beauty. And they nail it every time by having a concise menu, all cooked to perfection. 

Their blue cheese and gherkin is so mesmerising that you’ll feel like you’d actually dreamt it, and their halloumi, avocado and roast pepper burger is the most decadent vegetarian burger we’ve ever come across.

5. Gourmet Burger Bistro, Bridge Street

With new and incredible chef’s specials changing weekly, Gourmet Burger Bistro nail it in terms of burger variety and flavours, with 12 burgers in total, ranging anywhere from lamb to falafel, to choose from. 

Their home cut fries are a thing of sheer beauty too. As is everything else on the menu. And no, we’re not exaggerating.

Not a burger joint per se, but Deep South absolutely kill it in terms of sliders and hot dog buns. Their hand-crafted sausages are supplied by O’Flynn’s, who churn out some of the best bangers in all the land.  

Think of it as the world’s most gourmet barbecue, with some of the best lamb you’ll ever, ever taste. 

7. Hillbilly’s, Carrigtwohill

A Cork institution.

Rumour has it that every Corkonian takes a sacred oath to the Cork gods that they must consume a Hillbilly’s after every night out. And to be honest, we want to get involved.
