While Big Brother Italy may not have been on your radar before, it will be now as one of Ireland’s famous families is currently second-favourite to win.
Irish model Alessia Macari is competing for the grand prize of €100,000 in the final on November 7on Italian telly.
Alessia (23) grew up in Dublin, but spent her summers in Italy and moved there two years ago. Her family own the Macari chipper empire in Ireland, which also include her cousin, former Dublin Housewives star, Virginia Macari.Â
Speaking to The Sun, her mum Lisa Borsa said:
I cried I was so happy. You see Alessia is so sincere and there is a lot of badness going on in the house. It’s incredible she is through to the final. She is only in Italy two years but got more votes from the public than some of the best known personalities on Italian TV.
