Ladbrokes Offering Odds That May Set To Be The Hottest One On Record In Ireland

On the topic of questionable odds being offered – Ladbrokes has only gone and trumped the lot as odds of this May being the hottest ever recorded are being offered thanks to the betting giant. 

And aren’t we off to a good start?

The fine weather we’re currently basking in (shoutout to those in work) is set to extend for at least a week. And hopefully for those betting – the whole month!

Commenting on the warm weather bets, Hayley O’Connor of Ladbrokes stated:

“We’re barely into the first week of May and it’s already a scorcher. We’ve opened the book on this month’s temperatures smashing record highs, which wouldn’t be the worst bet to have to pay out on. When the sun shines, everyone is a winner really.”

If you’re happy to take that bet, odds of 12/1 are being offered to the risk-takers among us. The current record for the month of May is an impressive 28.4°c in Ardfert, County Kerry way back in May, 1997.
