This Irish Sweets Company Sends You All The Retro Treats You Thought You’d Never See Again

katedemolder

Fellow retro sweet lovers – someone has heard your prayer.

The brand new Irish sweet company Retrobox has gotten in touch with us to spread the good news that they’re supplying such treats to addresses worldwide – and all at the prices they used to be.

Their mission is to bring the things you ate as a kid back into your home – no matter where in the world you live now.

With their site, you can create your very own box of old school sweets, crisps, cereals and treats that you had as a kid, but you cannot get your hands on now.

You can even sign up to get a monthly delivery!

You can get your hands on:

Speaking to Lovin Dublin, Retro Box creator Paul Sheils told us all about the sweet’s company’s idea:

”We source from local shops just as we did as kids the local van or Mick’s corner shop. We could source wholesale but we want to include an element of local prosperity in the offering.

The products we have on the site now are being added everyday. There are still nearly 100 products to go!

We don’t stock Tayto, only King, we believe in real nostalgic products from Big Time Bars to Roy Of The Rovers, from Bikers to Banshee Bones, Hunky Dories, Frosties and Snowballs and Klipso bars.”

The service boasts a customer choice as the most important element, offering either:

1. A Surprise Box – (built on the lucky bag concept we knew as kids) where you’re told nothing about the contents inside, with the customer not knowing until they open it.

2. A Make Your Own Box (based on the Pic ‘n’ Mix concept) where they will have only the best most elusive products, ones you simply cannot get in Australia, New York, San Francisco or Berlin etc.

AND they are also working with sending your favourite local cereals abroad. Cereal away from home always tastes different as it’s made locally, but Retrobox are committed to shipping Irish made branded cereal once a month to anyone who wants it abroad.

What a time to be alive!
