This Kerry Pub Is Giving Away Free Dinners To Anyone In Need Over Christmas

With Christmas just under a week away, it’s very easy to get wrapped up in materialism and things that just don’t matter in the bigger picture.  

But, thanks to the world showing some serious compassion these days – there are people really stepping up the plate, showing wonderful examples of compassion, decency and kindness.

An example of this is Connie K’s Bar & Restaurant in Rathmore, County Kerry. This pub is offering free food from December 23 – 25 to anyone that mightn’t necessarily be in a situation where they can afford to provide their own. 

In a post to their Facebook page, the pub stated that they wanted to do something to help those in need after recently speaking to a lady just a few steps away from their front door who was ”dreading the thought of Christmas”.

The post in its entirety said:

I recently spoke to a lady only a few steps away from my front door and after a brief emotional chat as she was very upset, i was shocked to learn of the struggle she and her family faced on a daily basis in our locality. 
To provide even the most basic things like food & Clothing she seemed to be dreading the thought of Christmas. We read and hear about these things every day but sometimes we dont realise how close to home people are affected.

WE @ CONNIE K’S ARE OFFERING FREE CHRISTMAS DINNER TO EVERYONE IN NEED.
