Tomorrow is apparently the most popular day of the year for online dating, so it’s the perfect opportunity to dust off that Tinder app, log into POF or take the leap and set up your first profile.
According to The Irish Sun, dating site Match has found that the first day back in the office after the Christmas break see a hike of 37 per cent in activity online – boosting your chances of finding a Jamie Dornan lookalike.
The average user will send approximately 22 messages but will only get a reply to a third of them. (Phew, it’s not just us.)
January 16th is the most common day for a first date and it’s good news for the ladies, as men are 19 per cent more likely to respond to a message.
