WATCH: This Absolute Hero Collected Her Degree While Draped In A Pride Flag

We all do our best to stand up for what we believe in but one woman took things to another level during her graduation ceremony recently.

Ciara Cinnamond was due to collect her Degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from Queen’s University Belfast last week, on the same day as the #MarchForEquality was taking place in Northern Ireland.

While marriage is legal in Ireland since the 2015 referendum, this has still not be extended to Northern Ireland and thousands turned out on Saturday to call for the ban to be overturned.

While she couldn’t attend the march, Ciara still wanted to have her say… so she graduated from her course while proudly bearing the Pride flag.
