Four Puppies Have Been Found In A Woman’s Hand Luggage At Dublin Port

James Fenton

A woman with a Scottish address has been stopped at Dublin Port with four puppies in her hand luggage.

The ‘pugaleer’ type puppies were placed in the care of the DSPCA who have this afternoon posted about the incident on their Facebook page.

The woman, who was accompanied by two children, failed to provide pet passports and the puppies were not microchipped.

She claimed that she had purchased the puppies from an online seller and that she had made arrangements to collect the puppies in the Dublin area.

A follow-up investigation is underway.
