It doesn’t matter if you are all-loved-up and totally enjoy Valentine’s Day, or a bit of romance cynic and not a fan of the Overtly Commercialised Love Day, this is the kind of heart warming story we can all enjoy.
While Gardaí around the country are trying to both assist in and enforce the Level 5 restrictions, they are also helping out in some smaller ways that can often go overlooked.
Such is true of the following tiny gesture that likely meant a lot to some of the locals in Clare.
As they announced on Facebook:
“Ennistymon Gardaí decided to bring some Valentines cheer while checking in elderly local residents who are currently not able to see family / friends. Gardaí delivered some flowers, chocolates, PPE and a Valentines card. #HereToHelp #InThisTogether”
