Gardai have warned Irish drivers about the importance of keeping car keys in a safe place that’s not visible to potential thieves after they recovered a stolen vehicle that was robbed after “keys were phished through the letterbox.”
They took to Twitter to announce the safety message, warning people:
“Dont leave keys in open view on kitchen/hall tables, window sills, counter tops or on wall hooks etc particularly within reach of frontdoor.”
