Get Out And Enjoy This Glorious Weather Because The Country Will Be Flooded Tomorrow

James Fenton

“If I hadn’t seen such riches I could live with being poor.”

The words penned by Mancunian indie icons James could well have been written in tribute to the ever-changing Irish weather.

No sooner are we all out lying on the grass and dolloping ourselves in factor 50 are we told that the country will be flooded tomorrow. “Feck sake”, says you.

According to Met Éireann, Tuesday’s glorious weather will be replaced by heavy rain on Wednesday with the forecast suggesting:

“Wednesday will start cloudy and humid with showery rain turning heavy and the risk of thundery downpours, which may lead to spot flooding.

“The rain will clear northeastwards during the afternoon with fresher and cooler conditions spreading into the southwest and west.

“Afternoon temperatures will reach 16 to 22 degrees in moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds which will veer west to northwesterly and increase fresh to strong and gusty.”

Thursday will see scattered showers with the rain turning heavier again on Friday and the weekend isn’t looking good either. Click here for the full outlook.

Our advice would be to get some vitamin D while you can.
