There’s unsettled weather ahead for Ireland this weekend.
Earlier in the week we reported on the potential snowfall; now there are weather warnings in place for several counties. Storm Arwen is on the way, bringing cold and windy weather with it today and Saturday. Met Éireann have issued a Status Yellow Wind Warning for Donegal, Mayo, Sligo, and Northern Ireland. In particular there’s the possibility of large coastal waves, fallen trees, disruption to power and transport, and snow. The warning comes in from 3pm today and remains in place until early on Saturday morning.
