On Friday we wrote that Ash Animal Centre in Wicklow had posted a pic of cute lil pooch Angel, saying that the poor girl has been waiting for her forever home for SEVEN years. They said:
“It has been Angel’s 7th summer in Ash. Despite many appeals nobody came forward to meet our beautiful girl.
“We know our Angel is a bit shy but she will shine at home. We are sure of that.
“Angel is a beautiful, gentle soul. She is a lovely girl, good with other dogs who loves cuddles and short walks. When she gain trust, she loves unconditionally. Angel is medium size jack russell/beagle cross.
“Why not to come and meet our Angel and give her a chance?”
Basically, our hearts were broken.
And then this morning we received some amaaazing news.
Angel has found a loving home.
Ash animal rescue said that Angel has been been booked to a home, and that her future owners came over today to meet “our shy girl and it seems that everything is going in the good direction.”
They added:
“Angel is still with us,she needs to get to know her future family a bit better before she will be ready to go home “
Delighted. There’s still a lot of other dogs at the centre in need of a caring and loving home, so if you’re able to help rescue a pooch and take on the tough but rewarding responsibility of raising a pup, call into the Ash centre in Wicklow for a chat.
