Homes In A Large Part Of Galway Could Be Without Water For The Next 12 Hours

A number of homes in Galway are currently without water, according to Galway Bay FM.

Areas affected include Castlelambert, Cartymore, Carnmore, and Athenry.

Repair workers are currently working to restore the supply while motorists are advised that a stop and go traffic management system will be in place from lunchtime today.

The works are expected to take around 12 hours.
